VIS A VIS

In the realm of the Centro Cultural Borges Contemporáneo, this exhibition continues the review “Vis a Vis” curated by Massimo Scaringella. In this new exhibition, Italian artist Roberta Cavallari and Argentine artist Cotelito engage in a dialogue, presenting their latest works. Seemingly abstract, Roberta Cavallari’s artistic search traverses all phases of figurative production that, since the 1980s, has brought painting back to the center of the artistic stage. Her works appear as fields of force in tension with architectures, landscapes, and characters inserted into an open, dreamlike, and random spatiality that becomes a synthesis of representations and decorations, symbols and corporeality, plasticity, lines, and the ubiquitous, variable presence of color.

Nel contesto del Centro Cultural Borges Contemporáneo, questa mostra continua la rassegna “Vis a Vis” curata da Massimo Scaringella. In questa nuova esposizione, l’artista italiana Roberta Cavallari e l’artista argentino Cotelito danno vita a un dialogo, presentando i loro ultimi lavori.
Sembrando astratta, la ricerca artistica di Roberta Cavallari attraversa tutte le fasi della produzione figurativa che, a partire dagli anni ’80, ha riportato la pittura al centro della scena artistica. Le sue opere appaiono come campi di forza in tensione con architetture, paesaggi e personaggi inseriti in una spazialità aperta, onirica e casuale che diventa sintesi di rappresentazioni e decorazioni, simboli e corporeità, plasticità, linee e la presenza ubiqua e variabile del colore.
