For this year’s Season Opening of Zurich Galleries the Proarta Gallery shows four internationally known artists: three female artists and one male artist whose work sparks literally with colors and expressiveness. The Italian Painter Roberta Cavallari was born in 1975 in Ferrara, today she lives and works in Bologna. After having completed her education at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna and the Academy of Art of Weissensee in Berlin in 1999 her work was mostly exposed in Italy, Germany, Central – and South America. The young artist uses different techniques and media, among others with Performance, Video, Painting or Drawing. Drawing plays a particularly important part in the oeuvre of Cavallari’s as it spreads throughout all the art supports she employs. In this respect it provides her canvases, for instance, with a sketchy character, a turbulent and colorful fantasy-world.

Per questa edizione della Season Opening of Zurich Galleries la galleria Proarta presenta quattro artisti di fama internazionale: tre artiste e un artista, i cui lavori brillano letteralmente di colori ed espressività. La pittrice italiana Roberta Cavallari è nata nel 1975 a Ferrara, e attualmente vive e lavora a Bologna. Ha completato la sua formazione presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna e la Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee nel 1999, le sue opere sono state esposte principalmente in Italia, Germania, America Centrale e Meridionale. La giovane artista utilizza tecniche e media diversi, tra cui performance, video, pittura e disegno. Il disegno occupa un ruolo particolarmente importante nell’opera di Cavallari, poiché si diffonde su tutti i supporti artistici che utilizza. In questo senso, conferisce alle sue tele, ad esempio, un segno abbozzato, con linee veloci, un mondo fantastico turbolento e colorato.
